Cheap Trick Releases Cover Of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel”!

Cheap Trick has released a new single and a cover of David Bowie’s Rebel Rebel. No word if it’s for a future album or not. Regardless, it’s new music. It’s nothing that will knock your socks off, but it is standard fare for the band. They definitely made it like they wrote it so that’s always is a good thing.

You have Jack Douglas (Aerosmith, John Lennon) producing it so that takes it to another level. I really like Tom Peterson’s bass playing along with Daxx Neilsen’s drumming. They really make the song for me. It’s a good tune, not disappointing and not over powering, just a straight ahead delivery from the band. No video, just a stream of a picture in the studio. Check it out below.
