Happy Thanksgiving!

This is a band out of Melbourne, Australia. They are called Devilrock Four. This song is called: No Friends Of Mine. I think they are pretty good band and you should check them out.

Last week’s Rockucation question was: On the Beatles White album who played lead guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps. This week we have a winner! The answer is Eric Clapton. The answer provided by David Englund from Cranston, RI.  Lots of you thought it was a trick question, being that George Harrison sang it, but he didn’t play lead on it. He also lost his wife to Eric. Eric wooed Pattie away from him. So much for being friends.

January 10, 2013 will feature Rock Legends Cruise 2. Many of the artists that will be rocking the seas are: Molly Hatchet, Blue Oyster Cult, Foreigner and 38 Special among others. You can get more info here: http://rocklegendscruise.com

The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Revisited will air on PBS on December 14. It will feature the film you have never seen and will also air the original movie. If you are lucky, you won’t even see or hear Yoko Ono.

Yngwie J. Malmsteen is releasing a new book and a new record. The Album is called Spellbound which comes out on December 5th, the book later in 2013.

This week’s Rockucation question is: What was Black Sabbath’s band name before they changed it to Black Sabbath? Remember if you know the answer and you are the first to respond with the correct one, I will publish your name in the following week’s Rock Report.

Yet another Supergroup. This one features the following members: Sass Jordan, Brian Tichy (Whitesnake), Michael Devin (Jason Bonham’s Led Zep Exp), Tommy Stewart (Godsmack/Fuel). They will be releasing their debut on November 20th. Oh yes and the name of the band kind of sums it up if you ask me (but I haven’t heard them yet): Something Unto Nothing. A self-fulfilling prophecy, we shall see.

Just in case you missed it: INXS split up. Yeah that’s what I thought…….
